Our first bag made beyond our studio.
Created in collaboration with a woman-owned business in Kerala, S, India, the Chindi Bag was made with a shared love of giving beautiful materials a longer story.
Chindi means "scrap" or "remnant" in Hindi. A Chindi textile refers to a type of material made from recycling discarded textile and clothing scraps. The discarded textiles are woven together with cotton yarn to create a sustainable and durable fabric. We have taken the Chindi textiles and made a sustainable but stylish clutch bag. Feel PROUD to own a product that helps reduce textile waste and allow materials to live a longer story.
